Exacq snapshot ability

Hi, I'm new to this forum and IP cameras in general. Trying to set up a IP camera on my driveway in order to ge motion activated recordings and an email alert with a snapshot sent to my smartphone. I've been playing with the ExacqVision pro software on Linux OS and noticed exacq cannot send snapshots with its' email event notifications. Am I missing something? Is there a better way of doing this with their Iphone or Android apps without using excessive internet bandwidth? Note there will be 50+ alerts sent per day with this setup.
