ds18s20 0 Posted December 26, 2011 From reading around it looks like 8.5 has many new features. However I have been waiting for DLNA for some time and still there is no mention. Does anyone know whether that can be achieved even though it is not specifically spelled out in the manual? The objective is simple: use DLNA to stream to an LCD monitor with integrated Ethernet and built-in DLNA client? These days almost all IP enabled TVs have DLNA support and that makes life so much easier. Many even have built-in Wi Fi so that gets even better. Soundy 1 Posted December 27, 2011 You might be able to use VLC to capture an output stream and re-stream it for the TV... there are instructions floating around the 'net on setting it up as a DLNA server.
