white line across the screen

hi guys,

 

i'm having problem with one of 48 cameras installed on building. i cant get rid of white horizontal line travelling across the screen, or just sitting there in the middle. thicknes of the line is around 10% of the screen. when i disconnect the bnc from dvr, and connect the same bnc to my little test monitor, i get a crisp picture, but when connected to the dvr, the white line appears on main monitor. i tried connecting the camera to different channel, but the line remains there "with" camera.

i should mention that coax cable lenght is around 500 ft, but couple of feet away from that camera there are two cameras with great picture. i changed the bnc connector, but there's no difference.

 

is there any solution?

Didnyou try another camera on that cable? If you get the same problem it might be a bad cable or bad channel on the dvr
