Blaine109 0 Posted December 31, 2011 I am looking to put together a security camera system at my business but I need some help. My needs: I'm going to start out with 4 or 5 cameras: -One outdoors that will be mounted 15ft to 20ft high and look over the parking lot. It will probably need a range of 50-75 feet. It will be exposed to the elements so it will need to be IP66 or better. Needs to be a decently wide angle as well. -One to two cameras indoors in the showroom capturing customers coming and going. The showroom is a rectangle that is about 20ft x 65ft. -One to two in the warehouse; there can be quite a bit of dust in the warehouse so IP5x or IP6x. I am located near the coast so we do have a good bit of humidity, especially in the summer, so please take that into consideration. I want the capability to view remotely, so if my security alarm goes off I can log on and see what's going on. Because of this they all need to have night vision. After much reading I believe I have settled on a DVR - Qvis Apollo HD 8 Channel. Where I'm struggling is with the cameras. So much to choose from. Thanks, Blaine
Soundy 1 Posted December 31, 2011 http://www.cnbusa.com/en/html/product/product.php?seqx_prod=1073 - fits all your requirements except IR, but they do so well in low light you likely won't need it... and if you do, adding outboard illuminators is probably preferable anyway.
