rory 0 Posted January 7, 2012 Well facebook was and still is down for our entire country. Seems they changed their DNS ... and our ISP caches probably every 24 hours. We only really have 1 main ISP, which has most of the clients. Anyway didnt even know this existed until now, but google has public DNS servers you could use instead of your ISP's DNS. http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns Might come in handy sometime. hardwired 0 Posted January 7, 2012 I've been putting them in as a secondary DNS entry for a while now. It certainly can't hurt reliability, I think Google has a pretty good grip on fresh DNS updates.... Often, it's faster than your ISP's DNS, too.
