jetspeedz 0 Posted January 7, 2012 Guys i purchased an AVtech DVR which has email notifications but I have not had any luck setting up the email. I manually did some telnet commands and i know the gmail smtp.gmail.com server is working fine using two different ports and I even opened the ports on my router port forwarding not that it should matter and no luck sending emails no matter what settings i have. This is a h264 dvr no JPEG option but it should not matter as the specs stated it sends email alerts. I'm manually doing a test by disconnecting one of the video signals.
