PaulsonLaw 0 Posted January 12, 2012 Ok, I have my dvr plugged to the router.. I can ping the dvr... I forwarded the 2 ports, 9000 & 8080 I gave the dvr ip 192.168.1.123 So I can ping, but cannot type the above ip in my router & get anything, just IE check internet.... I checked the dvr, it has the gateway & everything.... I've been on this for 3hrs, very ticked, any help? Also checked the activeX IE options to promt... Also turned off firewall on router.... Routers a linksys.... ***** Nowhere in hours of research did anything say to put the : port# after the lan ip! Thanks all
SEANHAWG 1 Posted January 12, 2012 Normally, if your HTTP port is 80, you usually dont have to put the port # after it. Only when its different than 80 is when you have to.
