Aver EH1004 Alarm and relay input help

Not sure how this works. I want to setup a motion to trigger an alarm and email notification. I am trying to understand how the sensor input and relay output works. I assume it is the sensor input you use to trigger the alarm. If so, what do you actually wire to it?

 

So I have a motion that I will be using that is part of my home automation, this I can get to trigger all sorts of devices, relays, door contact etc. I am trying to figure out what I actually need to wire into the sensor input or relay output.
