Kevoeire 0 Posted January 26, 2012 I currently have on ip bullet cam that i can view online. http://www.tenvis.com/web/enProductshow-50.html I also have a Swann c-500r analogue camera which i dont have wired up yet. What i need is a dvr that handles both ip cams and wired bnc cams just to view it on a TV. Ideally it would have wifi to view all the dvr camera's online. I would need just 4 bnc connections but need to be able to connect a number of additional ip cams.. Any help much appreciated as so far no one has been able to help online.... tomcctv 190 Posted January 26, 2012 i would say use a hybrid. but to be honest with you it would be a waste of money. the problem is with your Tenvis ip camera. it is just a web cam you will get better images from a good standard cctv camera at a lot less than what that camera costs. in this case you are best off just buying a good D1 dvr with 4 or 8 cameras. this will still give you the remote viewing that you want. Kevoeire 0 Posted January 26, 2012 Thanks for the reply, I would have went with a wired option first but the issue is that certain areas will have to have wireless camera's as they are not directly on the house. I checked the hybrid and the prices are out of my budget. Would it the best option to just have a computer mounted near the Tv and access the camera's through that and just leave the wired camera out of the system... Are the ip camera's really not as good quality, Any suggestions on which are the best on the market..
