NWSYSTEMS 0 Posted January 27, 2012 Hello Everyone When it comes to CCTV i prefer to not take short cuts, i have seen many different CCTV cameras in operation in various mid to high end businesses. Most of the time the recorded footage is more than likely useless if required to identify or assist. I would greatly appreciate help on CCTV cameras and DVR to use as i am frustrated with which make model to go with. I have tried many different CCTV and none seem to be what i am looking for, budget is not a problem as id prefer to buy once rather than buy a few times. I get asked to install CCTV a lot for outdoor business where the yard is not well lit to start off with and quality of recorded footage is vital. SRD-470D was a DVR i used conjunction with SCO-2080RP infra red bullet Samsung CCTV. The image quality i found to be not adequate. Please help with recommendations, i want to achieve plenty of detail and want high res. Should i be going down the IP Route or is there Analogue CCTV out there that performs really well. Also if the system was to include 8 cameras what DVR would you use ? There is a lot of AV TECH DVR out there that seem to be a fraction of the price of an equivalent Samsung DVR. joseph.chen0312 0 Posted February 10, 2012 As you questioned, I think you should deveide into two issue one is how high TVL for the camera does it need IR or just low lux ( starlight camera) and second is the DVR you it seems you need D1 resolution to run high image. If you need you could contact me and I would like to refer an friend who is in this poor and He would be glade to help you estimate and even install those equippment in perfect spot.
