I cant play recorded video remotely, somethings not right?

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody,

I just joined the site. Its exactly what I need I think. I have been spending hours trying to figure things out and I think I got most of it but still having problems trying to view a recorded video remotely. I can watch the video live remotely but when I search and try to play it says "get data error". Im not sure I have the FTP set up right. (Not sure what DirName should be or the IP address as in IP of what?)

Thanks for the reply. Actually you may be on to something. There is a menu with "playback", "record" and should have another one with "snapshot record" that I dont have either. Guess I better contact them and see whats going on. I wasnt sure if it was a setting I didnt do right or what but they should be able to help me through it.

Thanks
