LarryW 0 Posted January 30, 2012 Hi everybody, I just joined the site. Its exactly what I need I think. I have been spending hours trying to figure things out and I think I got most of it but still having problems trying to view a recorded video remotely. I can watch the video live remotely but when I search and try to play it says "get data error". Im not sure I have the FTP set up right. (Not sure what DirName should be or the IP address as in IP of what?) What I have is the dvr connect via Ethernet to router. My computer is connected wireless to router. Actually you may be on to something. There is a menu with "playback", "record" and should have another one with "snapshot record" that I dont have either. Guess I better contact them and see whats going on. I wasnt sure if it was a setting I didnt do right or what but they should be able to help me through it.
