Powerline or wireless repeater recommendations

Hi guys

 

I have an axis 215 ptz that is being mounted about 100 feet from the router. Becuase there is no cat5 cables going to the camera I have to use either a powerline or a wireless repeater to connect to my wireless router downstairs in the basement about 100 feet away.

 

Do you guys have any recommendations for a brand or model wireless repeater or powerline adapter that is very good in terms or performance for transmitting the video from the ptz? I want to make sure I get the best picture possible.

Hi. wireless will slow control and video. if you can get a cat5 to your PTZ then yes i would go powerline.

 

just new on the market is the fast Neatgear nano 500 set XAVB5101 powerline.

I agree the power line would be egreat solution for your project .
