tomcctv 190 Posted February 9, 2012 Is this guy the most boring guy in the world? only if you dont understand what he is talking about. its a old video but the problem is still there......... laymans terms. BB phones are used by people for business because it has its own secure data. a legal battle has been going on for years with BB. al qaeda use BB just for that reason (there data is secure) any other network can be traced or will be traced by what is called word association and this also applies to emails sent. there are some words that if you put into text or email will be logged via most country security departments
fa chris 0 Posted February 11, 2012 Any large international company has encrypted communications via any smartphone now anyways, so governments can't tap into them anyways. More so the encryption and servers are controlled by the company, not canada. RIM is dying for many reasons, this is another one of them.

ljarrald 0 Posted February 12, 2012 a lot of 'chavs' now use BBs. probably because parents that used them for business bought them for their kids to keep in touch with them on BBM and then it caught on. this means when the uk riots took place last year a lot of the organisation was done through BBM. blackberry worked with the police to help catch the people who organised it.
