FloatEdit 0 Posted February 18, 2012 Hello All, Just joined and I am thinking of putting in a camera at home to keep check of the dog when he is outside. He has seizures and can't get up afterwards, I have to go out an lift him to his feet and he is good for another week or so. I checked the Nell'ys Surplus link at the left of this page and a used zoom camera for $49, looks to fit my budget. Where do I start looking for a low-cost panning head. I don't think I will need tilt as I will mount the camera on a chimney where I can sweep the entire back yard. Thanks Brian
Soundy 1 Posted February 18, 2012 Seems a basic PTZ camera would be more efficient and certainly less hassle overall... even just a simple PT webcam.
