Six9siX-Joe 0 Posted February 21, 2012 What causes this let say problem with day/night switching. Is it the light sensor on IR plate or it has to do with the camera lens? I found somewhere that the white camera have "sharp 1/3" 3,6mm F1.2 but gray camera say "sony 1/3" 3,6mm Hi res. All cameras have similar picture all day except the white camera switch to color 1-2 hours earlier / after No osd settings on all cams. So if I buy a replacement lens for the two gray cam could I get better results?
postaleyes 0 Posted March 5, 2012 The actual lens shouldn't have anything to do with the picture turning dark. Check the removable IR-cut filter. It might not be functioning properly.
Six9siX-Joe 0 Posted March 15, 2012 Found the problem First it's not a ccd cam but cmos (in the manual is stated as ccd) I replaced the ir board from another cam to see if there is a improvement. And yes there is. Now the cam is installed with only 12-ir board and stay's in color for longer.
