Soundy 1 Posted February 25, 2012 Computer's room1 + Printer: 192.168.1.x/255Computer's room2 : 192.168.2.x/255 Computer'room3 : 192.168.3.x/255 Why do you do this? Just put all the computers on the same subnet, share the printer on its machine, and the others should all find it automatically (especially if they're running Windows 7). excableguy 0 Posted March 1, 2012 Buy a standalone print server for it that way you don't have to keep a computer powered on all the time to be able to print. They can be picked up for a reasonable cost. Thats my preferred way.
jxk716 0 Posted March 1, 2012 Add printer from contoll panel's devises and printers. Selelect TCP/IP, then add the IP address of printer, let it search for it then load printer software. This is from memory and I may not have explained it exactly...but google this process or play with it on you're own and you will get it.
