Disconnected from Control Center Service

Am new with GV software but we have a NVR server with Control Center version 8.5 up and running.

 

We are testing Control Center and in a separate PC, we have installed the software including the USB Dongle.

We are trying to use a video matrix on this PC, but once the video matrix is activated and the video starts, the control center service (CCS) in the NVR fails and stops working. Even if we restarted all services with the video matrix still active, the matrix shows the video for less than a second or so and again the CCS stops working.

 

Any suggestions? any help is appreciated.

Any time that you have a software that initially functions then drops out, look at Windows Firewall settings and probably set up an exception for that software in your firewall setup. Also other virus protection software running can cause this.
