Help me choose lenses for my setup please.

I will be choosing lenses for my camera setup.

 

I can choose between these.

 

2.8/3.6/4.2/6 mm

 

I will be using 3 cameras.

 

Here are three sketches.

 

What would you guys say?

Edit: The height of the ceiling is about 2,5 meters, not 3 meters.

You'd probably want 2.8mm for camera 2, 6mm for the other two... actual angle of view will depend on the size of the sensor (1/4" or 1/3").

 

A better idea would simply be cameras with varifocal lenses so you can fine-tune each one to the area it needs to cover. What cameras are you using?

i would also look at varifocal cameras in that install and also NOT use IR

I'm sorry but these cameras don't have varifocal lenses.

So that is why i created this thread, to try and figure out which lenses i need.
