Dodge 0 Posted March 16, 2012 I have an old version of the nv5000 card,i do not know if that makes any difference on todays nv5000. The problem i have my system keeps crashing with BSOD. Question i have which is the best opperating system. I have windows xp 32bit pro or windows 7 32bit utimate also windows 64bit ultimateto choose from. sluthra 0 Posted March 22, 2012 Go 32 Bit. I had a hell of a time with a 64 bit DVR. Difference between Pro and Ultimate is the language packs and bit locker encryption. Just go with Pro. AVOID 64 BIT!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
jtetterton 0 Posted March 22, 2012 I tried installing my GV1480 on Windows 7 64bit and found it was not compatible. If you go 64bit, check with the manufacturer to make sure the card/software is compatible. I ended up installing Win7 32bit and it worked fine. Jason Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
