KyleSchw 0 Posted March 22, 2012 Hopefully someone here can assist me with an issue I'm experiencing. I'm not 100% on the actual model # of the DVR, all could find on it was: HAVR-1648 (But google didn't find anything) I've attached the screenshot of the web interface, hopefully it looks familiar to someone As you can tell veiwing the DVR from an Internal address the camera's are all showing up fine. However if I try and connect outside of the network using Internet Explorer, it connects to the GUI, after I log in I see the grid, but the camera's stay black and I get an error "CONNECT: FAILED!" So I originally figured it was a port forwarding issue, verified ports 8080, 554 were opened. (Retrieved these ports from the DVR, and verified the local connection using netstat) Now here's the weird part, when I open in Chrome and test it, I can log in fine and see the camera's but it will only display 1 camera at a time, not the full grid. So it appears the ports are forwarded correctly since I'm able to access it from chrome. I thought maybe an issue with IE, but it works no problem locally. It seems like there is a hidden port that IE is using that I'm not aware of? Hopefully someone else has had a similar issue and can offer some insight! Thanks! KyleSchw 0 Posted March 26, 2012 Found out the issue just incase anyone else is experiencing it. Ended up being an issue with the ports being used. I was using port 8080 & 554, switched them to 8082 & 6200. (On the DVR & the Router) everything is working fine in IE now
