It's for a house in which I put a cctv installation in the outdoor garden and garage door. What I want is that I also work like a outdoor alarm when it detects movement and can activate a siren, turn on the lamp posts .. I just want to spare an alarm system and that serves me well cctv alarm . No need to connect it to any police station, only to notify me if it gets me when I sleep someone on my property. hayden 0 Posted March 30, 2012 Most DVRs have Alarm outputs which can be configured to give you an output whenever motion is detected. On Alarm outputs, by using relays you activate your lights and siren etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
