Hi All,

 

I have a HD-SDI Micro Digital DVR ( MDR-H0004E ). The problem happens when i accidentally click FORMAT the HDD. The HDD turns empty, i am lucky that i did a back up earlier. Is there a way to restore back the back up video back to the DVR ( Which is in .EXE format )?

 

Or anyone has a encounter similar problem & managed to restore back the video to the DVR.

 

I was thinking using a laptop to play back the back up video, using a HDMI - HD-SDI convertor & pump the video back to 1 of the DVR channel ( the date and time is not a probem, but video in the DVR is crucial). However it does not work, it only showing me a 1/3 of grey screen.
