metalice 0 Posted April 4, 2012 Hi there, This may seem like a stupid question but I have just got a avtech kpd 674. I need to set it up properly but I cannot access the setup menu. i know the onscreen menu that appears on the left side after typing in 0000 on the on screen keypad but how do you get the other menus (setup, lan, recording, etc) I've tried the remote and most of the keyboard keys, but I can only access the one on left side of screen Any help would be appreciated Cheers Metalice Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I need to set it up properly but I cannot access the setup menu. i know the onscreen menu that appears on the left side after typing in 0000 on the on screen keypad but how do you get the other menus (setup, lan, recording, etc) I've tried the remote and most of the keyboard keys, but I can only access the one on left side of screen Any help would be appreciated Cheers Metalice hi. have you bought this avtech secondhand as this is a old model ??? factory is admin and 0000 to get into full menu. but if secondhand this might of been changed in which case you will need to do a hard reset. the engineers way in is to startup your dvr and wait till loaded then hit the enter button 4 times. if this does not work then yes you need a hard reset. and avtech can be a little problem. its a 50/50 chance it will work.
