using TV for monitor

I have a Bosch 400 series DVR that supports VGA for a primary monitor and BNC for a call monitor.

 

Customer wants a big call monitor near the dispatchers so they can watch the cameras.

 

Can I get an LCD TV with an RF input and make up a cable BNC To F-Connector (cable tv) and will it work?

 

The reason is A 23" LCD TV is about 1/2 the price of similarly sized LCD monitor with BNC inputs.

BNC from you DVR to Scart or Phono yellow input and it will work 100% on the AV

so I will look for a BNC to RCA connector to connect only to the yellow on the TV?

thanks for the help. I got a flat-screen TV and made up the connection myself. the picture looks ok, not as good at the monitor next to the dvr. the cable run is about 50feet. I think it's a good solution so thank you!
