I stumbled upon Loftek sentinel-D1 IP camera on Amazon.

It comes with PTZ funtions at the price of 125.99 dollars. And other pamameters almost can satisfy me.

How do you like it?

Looks like a toy, but it will surely be better than a fake camera. 320x240 at 30fps or 640x480 at 15fps. I would not recommend it for anything else than live view, I would not expect to get any decent footage recorded.

This is the one of those videos.

 

Well, I do know that camera from that video (I recognised the interface), but being sold with the brand Apexis instead of Loftek. It must be some chinese OEM camera that anyone can put their brand on.

 

Loftek sentinel-D1 is also being sold as Apexis APM-J901-Z-WS, no idea if they are the original manufacturers but they could be, they are from Shenzhen.

Oh, Gosh. It is a little attractive at this price for a PTZ dome camera.

The price of Loftek sentinel-D1 is changing. It is $165.99.

Perhaps it is a popular security dome camera on Amazon. This a huge change on price.

Expecting it to cut its price one day.

Yeah, but that doesn't make the camera decent per the specs -- it's still a toy and not much beyond that. For a good name-brand/supported IP PTZ camera you're looking at somewhere between 10x and 15x that price..
