cgcmgr 0 Posted April 13, 2012 Hey Guys, Got my Axis T8126 High PoE splitter today and it came in an Axisa box, had and Axis manual , but the splitter itself was in a small white box that didn't say Axis on it anywhere and didn't have the model # T8126 anywhere on it. The splitter itself says PowerDsine HiPoE on it and the label has no mention of Axis or the T8126 model number. Looking on the internet for pictures of the Axis T8126 splitter, I went to the Axis website and it has a picture of the splitter I was sent. I'm assuming I got the Axis splitter, but why doesn't it say Axis? Chris
thewireguys 3 Posted April 14, 2012 Because Axis doesn't make them... PowerDsine does. Does it look like this: Or this: http://www2.microsemi.com/PowerDsine/Products/Midspan/Splitters/

The splitter actually looks like this: http://www.axis.com/products/pol/high_poe/index.htm item on the right of the picture Thanks for answering
thewireguys 3 Posted April 14, 2012 (edited) Guess they ran out of stickers FYI Axis only makes their cameras and everything else is OEM'd which means you can buy it cheaper from the original manufacture. Edited April 14, 2012 by Guest
