hey_moe 0 Posted April 14, 2012 We have so many members in here I bet cha we have in here just about every camera made. Posting day time or night time pictures will give each of us the opportunity to see what the camera can really do. Then if we like what we see or have questions about that products we can get the correct answer.

groovyman 0 Posted April 14, 2012 Hey, I have a question concerning CNB Mona Lisa cameras. I've installed a few of them (VCM24VF, DFL20S and a couple others) and they all seem to have a rainbow effect, similar to the tree in the Front Porch 12:16 pic and the deck in the Backyard 17:27 pic posted above. You can also see it in on the cage in the Dogs Room 08:19 pic, although it's a different camera. Anyone know why this happens with the CNB Mona Lisa cameras? hey_moe 0 Posted April 15, 2012 These first shots are from those CNB-24f dome camera. Which to me are very good cameras. They are also easy to install and have a great menu set up.

hey_moe 0 Posted April 15, 2012 These two shots are from the camera I brought. It is a box camera and they took very good care of me. They sent me a few lens and one nice telo-photo which is the one I am using now. Model Dahua ESCBX700.

How is the picture quality on the CNB DFL20S? I'm thinking of getting it because of the price but I'm leaning towards more for with the VCM24VF.

I posted a night screenshot here: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=30651&p=191907#p191907 Daytime is great, except for that rainbow effect in some environments. Since posting that question I've gone back to play around with rotating the lens which has helped. I guess it's the way the light reflects off some surfaces. It's worse in areas that have different fluorescent bulbs in different fixtures.

I really like the VBM24VF I got, it's way better than those cheap chinese cameras that lots of the dealers around here sell and you can feel the build quality with it too. Yes I've used a few of them when a client wants a camera mounted outdoors. I've also used them to replace some old IR outdoor cameras. There's another model for indoors that's a little cheaper and I've used them more often (can't remember the model right now - have to dig up invoices). Whatever camera I use all depends on the environment where they're being installed.
