GV-NVR License Upgrades

I was wondering how the Geovision GV-NVR software upgrades work.

 

For instance. If I have a 2 License dongle and I wanted to add a 3rd IP camera, how would I go about doing it?

 

Do I somehow transfer the license onto the existing 2 Licenese dongle and then it becomes a 3 license dongle?

 

Or, do I have to keep adding more dongles to the server? (i.e. 1 for the 2 Licenses and another dongle for the 3rd license)
