PsychoMantis 0 Posted April 18, 2012 Hi, A client has installed 40 Pelco Camclosure IP110 Cameras all powered-up by PoE Switches. They are considering our company for Maintenance Contract, at least three of these cameras cause problems when the electricity is shifted to Generators or Back to Mains (Electric Load Shedding is common in Pakistan). The thing is ping reply is normal for all of these, only the video disappears. After some time the video comes back and the camera becomes normal once again. I have suggested the client to use non-PoE switch and use AC adapter for the camera but we need to sign the contract before they allow our technicians to touch their equipment.
