Guest Posted October 16, 2005 Thanks a lot loop. Yes - the same DVRs and software. Looks like they have nice networking system (Central Monitoring, etc). DVRs also - looks like high-end. Would you take a look on it Rory? Will be grateful for every experience with them.
rory 0 Posted October 16, 2005 Multi Site software only 25 way max, and Recording is 704x576. 352x240 based 480-fps recording Probably just Linux too. Honeywell isnt exactly "up there" with the latest gear anywayz.. It looks okay, but whats the price? Lets put it this way, at Honeywell prices, not worth it, if you can buy direct, sure its a nice looking system, but i cant comment on it cause Honeywell is not exactly a leader in CCTV, ive never known of anyone that actually buys their gear, except mostly DIYers or alarm guys that get caught up in the ADI thing. Guest Posted October 16, 2005 You can connect 3 monitors to central monitoring station to have 75 screens. I do not to know prices. But I sow one of theirs system working - excellent. Rory - they could be better even than GE.
rory 0 Posted October 16, 2005 GE has 64 way view on one monitor, and then some.

Guest Posted October 17, 2005 Coming back to this post title - finally don’t know - only XXXx288 (PAL), XXXx240 (NTSC) DVRs (half D1) are "jettings" free or what? I try several standalones which displays/records with D1 (XXXx576) resolution - all have the same problem - horizontal lines with fast moving objects. Is it common problem for standalones or what? I know whole story about odd, even frames and interlaced video - but seems to be not possible - cheap PC DVRs resolve this while much more expensive standalones can not develop deinterlacing technology. Still need recommendations for "jettings" free standalones recording with full D1 - not as expensive as GE DVRs.
