Infra Red LED's

Hello,

 

I am after some help/advice.

 

For some reason the Infra Red led's on my sony cctv camera don't come on when it gets dark , , Works fine during the day.

 

Andy help, advice, ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Either they are broken, or you are not providing enough power to them such as on a long length of cable to the camera, or there is other exterior light by the camera that is enough to keep the IR's off- in a sense fooling camera into thinking it's daylight.
