Pierre 0 Posted May 3, 2012 Hi, One of my properties was broken into recently,we have the perps on camera ,we have copied the file to a flash drive ,but when we try to access it we can't. computor keeps saying file not finished how do we resolve this issue . Soundy 1 Posted May 3, 2012 Nowhere near enough info here... What DVR? What type of file? If a Windows-based DVR, did you "Eject media" before removing the flash drive? fa chris 0 Posted May 3, 2012 Most DVR's use their own format (usually some variation on one of the standard formats) to make them proprietary and include a special player to play the video. Make sure you're using the proper player or you won't have any luck. This isn't meant to make things difficult on the end users, but it's to make sure nobody could tamper with the video if the case gets taken to court.
