hhrmediasb 0 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) Hello everyone. I have been using the LuxRiot software and hardware configuration for several years with complete disappointment, during a 3 year span we have replaced over 8 boards and upgraded to newer versions of the boards twice. This morning once again a board stopped working since being replaced 4 months ago, the company that we purchased this board from does not think it will be covered as an RMA and we are faced with the decision to buy a new 16 Channel Board for $790.00 I am here looking for options to replace the boards to something more reliable and compatible with the LuxRiot Software System, if this seems to be a far reach i do not oppose to the idea of changing to a software that makes for a better match. Here are my current hardware specs, Intel Core i7-2600 - 3.40GHZ CPU 4.0GB of Ram (3.0GB Available, CCTV Boards have no support for 64bit Drivers) Windows 7 Pro - 32bit 4.5TB of storage x2 16 Channel HP4000EX H.264 CCTV Boards (Link: http://www.cctvgadgets.com/LUXRIOT_DVR_NVR_Software-HP4000EX_H_264_Board_16_Video_and_16_Audio_Channel.html) My only requirements would be to have 32 cameras at a decent recording and streaming rate, our current cameras are set to record at 720x480 15fps which seems to be sufficient, Technical Support and Quality of the boards would be our priority but keeping price as low as possible. Some of the questions i also have are - Would i need to replace both boards in order to get 32 cameras or could i mix and match with the current HP4000EX? - Does anyone have a good experience using the LuxRiot software? - What boards seem to be good with LuxRiot? Any input and ideas are appreciated, Thanks You.. Edited May 4, 2012 by Guest

hhrmediasb 0 Posted May 4, 2012 What is the cost for the 4 IP Encoders + Software, I called Avigilon who directed me to a sales rep who has not yet responded. This is not exactly what i had in mind but seems like a doable option depending on the cost.
