mnm99 0 Posted May 9, 2012 I've done a bunch of searching and still don't know what is good. I'm looking to spend around $700 if possible. It's going to be used for home use. The cameras are 700res cameras. Is there a DVR anyone you would recommend? I'd like it to be smart phone ready also. Thanks

It does automatic port forwarding and remote viewing on any iOS/Android device is a breeze !!! Throw in a 1 TB hard drive and u r good to go. D1 viewing sucks up a lot of bandwidth on your upload speed and I have a seen a lot of carriers data throttle upload speeds nowadays. Hope it helps !! Soundy 1 Posted August 15, 2012 16-channel DVR for $99?? Are you freakin' kidding?? Oh yeah, that's why: it's not D1. CIF-only both recording AND live, according to the eBay listing.

shockwave199 0 Posted August 15, 2012 700 bucks is a bit low. If you must have a 16 channel unit at full D1, bump your budget up to 800 to 1k. Q-see has one, QT5116- http://q-see.com/products/product_description.php?cId=40&pId=75&id=40&pid=28 Check your PM for another one to consider. Good luck. larry 2 Posted August 16, 2012 Go to work and all hell breaks loose. If it weren't for my being at work and not wanting to work on personal stuff, I would have responded to the hijackers differently.
