salehjoon 0 Posted May 9, 2012 Hi, Could someone tell me if the Zmodo DVR-H9216UVDH (Link below) is a good entry level, D1 resolution, DVR? http://www.zmodo.com/security-camera-recorder-dvr-h9216uvdh.html I know there are better DVRs that cost a lot more, but my budget for a DVR is around $600. I need to use this DVR at a small business. Will this DVR along with a 520TVL camera be able to capture the license plate number in a parking lot during the day? Also, I know most DVRs can record and playback simultaneously, but if I record in D1 resolution will I still be able to stream over the internet? PaulsonLaw 0 Posted May 16, 2012 I've installed 5 now over the last 6 months, no problems at all honestly. Sure gotta solve a few interference issues like any analog CCTV, but hey.... Yes there are more out there that are better, but if you are trying to stay below 1000 to 1500, a 400 Zmodo is the same as the other lower cost units.... Not sure on the D1 recording streaming question though...
