arriflex 0 Posted May 10, 2012 Hi guys I'm new to this but i have a very good understanding of computer in general. I have a question about the Axis POE Splitter they have a 12v and a 24v version but I'm not too sure to understand what I need exactly. My two primary camera model are the 3204-v and the 3343. Thanks !!!
thewireguys 3 Posted May 10, 2012 Both of those cameras are AF POE compliant so you do not need a POE splitter. Just plug the RJ-45 directly into the camera and use a AF compliant injector at the other end or a POE switch.
mike_va 0 Posted May 10, 2012 Axis cams can sometimes be supplied from 12V etc or POE. Trendnet POE switches are around $40 at Newegg when on sale for 4 ports this might make your life easier.
