tomcctv 190 Posted May 11, 2012 Heya i've just got a new system to look after but sadly the 2 camera's left to sort are both Baxall ZR3M/WBX, For PTZ we only have RS485, is there a way to get the Baxall units to work over RS485?Thanks Tommy hi. tommy i take it the cameras are still controlled via the hand controller ??? the problem with the old baxall is they have no protocol so your 485 is usless from your dvr. you can spend the money and convert the data but with having the WBX (controls on camera) it is very costly. to the point you will save money buying new cameras and the fact you are converting very old cameras.
