leviwaynedaily 0 Posted May 17, 2012 I have a friend who is looking for some cameras for a shop and 2 outside cameras for his yard. His shop is storage for his boats, so one camera in each bay. There are lights on all the time outside. Not looking for anything too crazy, just some good cameras. Inside his Am going to use Exacq as the NVR. I was looking at the Axis M1103 for inside and then putting a housing on them for outside.. Looking for some ideas, definitely new at this!! Thanks alot!! cbodbyl 0 Posted May 17, 2012 Sounds like you've done your research. The Exacq software is great and I think it is well suited to the type of system you're designing. Axis cameras are all really reliable so anything you spec from them will work and be easy to install. The only thing I would recommend is that you use day/night cameras outside regardless of the lighting, or at least buy one M1103 and test it at night to see how it performs under artificial lighting. My experience has been anytime I've installed day only cameras outside to save money, the customers ended up unhappy and had to upgrade the cameras later. Camera2000 0 Posted May 18, 2012 Hello, I suggest you to choose the WDR low illumination cameras. If you want some recommendation, please send the email to me. Camera2000
