hi yes you can (called local network)

 

all you need to know is the ip address of your dvr (found under network settings) most of the time with just local networking you dont need to do any port forwarding

You will want to use a static IP for your DVR on your LAN because the settings in your CMS software will need to be set to find the DVR on your LAN and every-time the DVR powers down the IP address of your DVR could change if you set the address manually the software will always know where to look for the DVR. Set the device identifier in your IP address in the range 240 - 254 and you should avoid conflicts with the DHCP

type network in windows, list the devices. right click on the dvr, properties gives you the ip address. type that into a browser.

i dont understand

i try connected the dvr to router (cable) and connect the computer to router (wifi)

and type IP it Exists in the dvr but it not work

 

and i try connect the drv to computer in cable

and i type the IP he exists in the dvr but it not work

i instel CMG software but when i open this program it see device list is empty add your device at

system > device manager

when i go thear

thare is no device to add

I have some issue when Connecting dvr to Router.I using H.264 digital video recorder,OS windows 7.I have attached error image.

 

I have connected WIFI with laptop,uisng lan cable connected router to dvr.

I have installed dvr disk software and then,later pop out error ,i took the image ,attached.

How can I fix the ip address to dvr
