luxury1 0 Posted September 24, 2005 I was speaking to a guy yesterday and he said that the pelco camera's are very good but they are expensive and a nice alternative for outdoor residential use might be panasonic. Does anyone have any input on this?
rory 0 Posted September 24, 2005 Panasonic is just as expensive, but better.
cctv_down_under 0 Posted September 25, 2005 My opinion is that Panasonic make some of the best cameras in the world, I have used quite a few of them without any problems, I might add though that if I had a choice I would not use them, quite simply because of the cost. I have also used a lot of Pelco cameras and can honestly say that Pelco's PTZ range are very easy to use, there are products out there just as good at cheaper pricing though. rory 0 Posted September 25, 2005 The GE Box cameras are really good, especially the Exview model, and the PTZ is fast and plug and play, all except for the Ultraview and their color/mono Dome, which I wasted a couple dollars on a couple times on both ..
