qman 0 Posted September 26, 2005 I'm stuck with this camera. This picture is at night, and since it was installed, it looks like this. I have tried focusing and no avail. Any ideas? Thanks for any help by the way, it's a rainbow cctv http://www.rainbowcctv.com/cameras/hdcvf3d.html thanks!

qman 0 Posted September 26, 2005 Then how come all other 7 of this same model, installed at the same location have no problems? is it just a bad cam, or is it a wrong setting?
rory 0 Posted September 26, 2005 Bad cam or lens, lens is built on board so .. Check: The Dome cover has no scratches? The Dome cover is not dirty? The lens is not dirty? Whenever I have an Issue I cant straight off fix, I take the camera down and test it at my location for a couple days, or within time to make sure there is or is not any problem with it. But its alot harder just to replace a camera down here.
baywatch 1 Posted September 26, 2005 Why not swap the camera out with one that is working perfectly & see if you move the problem to the new position. What is the image like in the day?
qman 0 Posted September 26, 2005 The image is almost all white during the day. I think that I'm just going to swap the camera out.
griffonsystems 0 Posted September 26, 2005 my guess would be the auto iris is malfunctioning
cctv_down_under 0 Posted September 27, 2005 I would agree with Griffin, unless it is a full body camera and someone either turned up the level too high or failed to do a Back Focus (My Guess)
