nealrap 0 Posted May 27, 2012 I'm looking for a good NVR that will support 16 2MP IP cameras (mostly vivotek, Axis & trendnet). I'd want it to be able to record on motion detection, or if it's not too resource intensive it could just record & overwrite always. I do want to record at high resolution and decent frame rate. This would be placed in a secure location at the premises where the cameras are located. I'm so confused, and so new to these. These websites specs are not detailed enough that I'd even know what they support. I see nuuo, qnap & others, but am not even sure of which model to get... or even a software only or open source one and I can configure it) I can easily add hard drives or memory if needed, but I don't even know which one is best to start with... Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
