PaulsonLaw 0 Posted June 7, 2012 Well, after not being able to figure out getting the video outs to go over 600' of cat5 to get to each others channel in, I've decided to go wireless...... Both Zmodo DVR's are 400' line of sight, but both mounted in basements... Goal is to have both dvr's bnc video out feed into each others channel 1 input.... I can run power/antenna lines up and mount under eve for line of sight... I also wish to have 2 receivers in a 3rd structure to pick up both wireless feeds, 300' from both DVR's.... This way we can see both dvr's on the TV or monitor in 3rd structure rather than on this 10" netbook.... Also, this will give both houses access to a split screen of the others cams & will give a back up recording of each others split screen.... Tired of trying wired w/ different baluns, active/passive, rca amps... nothing wired works..... Or would it be better to just run 2 cat5UTP between the two, but this would make for a LOT of work.... Thanks in advance! Tight budget btw
