christhomas861 0 Posted June 12, 2012 I'm new to CCTV, but learned a lot in the past few weeks. I'm installing cameras for the business I work for, and so far everything has been RS-485 (easy). Then I run into this Speed Dome 2000 that uses RS-422? Anyhow, I have a Lorex L20WD800 8-channel DVR + screen unit that only has Relay, RS-485 and RS-232 connections. It is labeled as such: PTZ: D+, D-, GND RS-232: GND, TX, RX GND is shared between the two. Not sure what the relay thing is for. I get the Speed Dome to power up, show picture, and go through its init process, but can't figure out how to control it with the Lorex. Any help is greatly appreciated!
