alextfm 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Good morning, We've been asked to install a CCTV system that can be remotely monitored, comprising of 7-9 cameras at a building site. It is refurbishment works, as a result no equipment is allowed to be in the building (cameras to go on the outside) and we're not allowed to fix vast amounts of cabling to the building. The only facility for storing control equipment is a steel container used as an office, but there is no broadband. There is also no line of site between the container and half of the proposed camera locations, so a wireless solution is out of the question. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks very much. jeromephone 6 Posted June 12, 2012 It might be cheaper to get a cable connection to the trailer for the duration of the project. If you have to pay for a year's service charge it to the customer. We did a time lapse and that is how we handled it. Somehow the customer will be paying for the connectivity anyway either through your bill or paying the ISP.
