eyes-Bevin 0 Posted June 17, 2012 As I know Ir led Camera could have a IR CUT(ICR) Filter. and ICR (Infrared Cut-Filter Removal) just a piece of filter in front of the CCD module.
shockwave199 0 Posted June 17, 2012 Only get a TDN camera with a cut filter. Daytime colors wll be correct and without the filter, colors will not be correct. In total darkness, I would suggest you get a camera that also features smart IR, which adjusts the light output when someone is in view so they don't become white washed with no chance of ID'ing. shockwave199 0 Posted June 17, 2012 Pictures paint a thousand words. Smart IR demo- uzLij9zJw7Q No IR cut, notice the odd colors of bushes and trees- IR cut, notice the colors are now correct- Now put that all together in something like a gadspot GS830SM, and you have as nice camera for your situation- IR cut will mostly help your daytime colors in your office, but it also improves the black and white image at night as well, in my experience.
