nadajoey 0 Posted June 20, 2012 Hello, i have surveillance cam that is wired right to the video input on one of my TV's. I have 3 TV's in total in the house, connected to two separate Expressvu antennas. I'd like to be able to view the cam from any of the tv's but I don't know what equipment i would need. I gather a RF modulator is a start, but do I need anything else given that I am hooked to 2 sepatate Expressvu dishes in my house? what about filters? Do I need any? thanks for the info, and p.s. i am an amateur at this! thanks!!!!!
Neutech 0 Posted June 20, 2012 Saying you have a number of antennas i would run a RG59 to each TV then use an AV distribution amp Either use a BNC-Phono male if the TV has Yellow Phono AV input or a Scart to Phono http://www.ebay.com/itm/cctv-1-to-4ch-Video-Distributor-amplifier-with-Audio-/280438522342?pt=US_Video_Cables_Adapters&hash=item414b7041e6 Just an example above
nadajoey 0 Posted June 21, 2012 it would be impossible for me to run additional rf59 to each TV, is there another way?
Neutech 0 Posted June 21, 2012 Im guessing expressvu is satelite? Modulator wont work with that either any Cat5 at the TV's? Cat5 - Balun will work as well failing that wireless is last option sorry cant help much not to clued up on USA TV systems
