Hi folks.

 

Looking for a 4-cam set-up to protect my home, and this seems to cover what I want from a system.

 

Cant work out if its overpriced though? Can anyone guide me?

If it is overpriced, can you suggest an alternative to this that works out cheaper ?

Look, I have found the same thing (but with dome cameras) for only £525etc

 

Not that I really know what I am doing, but it doesn't say at what frame-rate the DVR can record 4 cameras at?

 

I thought for best picture you need at least 7fps ? Will this machine do it ?

yes go for the avtech twice the price of the dahua kit

 

you can also pickup that avtech kit up from maplins cheap

So I should go for a dahua DVR, but my choice of cameras is okay?

 

Am I right in thinking that some of these websites constructing these 4-cam kits etc, so they can chuck a really rubbish DVR in with say Sony cameras to fool you into thinking you're getting something great by trading off the sony name ?
