adioensis 0 Posted June 25, 2012 Hi everyone, I have a huge issue with a NV8416 and two motherboards, one MSI and other ASUS, both the NV6480 works perfectly but the NV8416 gives me a error "SLOT (x) Error, Please check with your motherboard vendor" (or something like that). This message appear only in the new version software NV 7.9.000.24. This happend when you reboot the DVR, and sometimes appears and sometimes don´t, in the MSI motherboard appears almost always, an in the ASUS y very random. All the specs for this card where followed. Aver saids, the problem is the PCIExpress x4 of the motherboard wich actually can´t use the x4 and use only x1. If you ask me, the problem is the NV cards not the motherboards, I´ve try to contact MSI but no lucky yet. I see no logic on this, because I can buy 2 ATI VGA and use on the some motherboard and works perfectly at x4 I´m really apreciate your comments and questions. Regards George Sorry for my english.
