apcviewer 0 Posted October 1, 2005 I think I have an Intotech H120 card running in an (I think again) Eyemax Ranger DVR system . Because of this, I am lead to believe that this hardware and software are dependable for surveillance. Unfortunatly, I formated the computer and now have only the Intotech DVR software, SmartDVR Formula, running. None of the Eyemax software worked so I give up on trying those. I intend to record 4-5 channels at 320x280 @ 120fps (4 channels at 30fps OR 3 channels will be at 30fps and 2 will be at 15fps). My main question is now, are any of you familiar with the Intotech software? How well does it function when running 24/7? Does the software cause errors when the computer is in use (burning data onto CD-r's or archiving surveillance into .avi files) or active background software is running (ftp server transfering data from either Windows partition or DVR recording partition)? This DVR system will be used at a convenience store so dependability and reliabilty are one of my top priorities. The system is running on: Intel Pentium4 Wilemette 1.7GHz Asus P4B w/ 512MB PC133 ATi Radeon 7000 64MB AGP Thanks for any input and help.
